Perception and adoption of new agricultural technologies in a Northern Inland Mozambique

The debate on the factors constraining adoption of agricultural technologies in Southern African countries is still open. This paper assesses perception and level a set by key actors Northern Inland Mozambique. These formed two groups: (1) Technicians, who are local government officials responsible for area; (2) Extension farmers, leaders different communities they work together with technicians to prove new promote them within farmer’s communities. data was collected through surveys 10 (20% women) 8 extension farmers (37.5% women), assessing their Chitima, Mozambique between 2012 2017. Results show that declare seed varieties as easily adopted technology but declared do not care about type long it increases crop yield income. reflects misunderstanding could be Chitima.
